The plans for South Widnes Team have come to fruition. We have a ministry team. St Paul’s Widnes; St Mary’s West Bank and St Mary’s Hale and Ignite (the Deanery Youth Church) are working together.

Our team rector is Janice Collier, the current vicar of St Mary’s Hale; the team vicar is Dr Jeremy Duff. They are working together for all three churches. Our Readers continue to work alongside the clergy. 

We thank God that our prayers have been answered in such a wonderful way and that new ministers are now leading us. The future looks brighter for our church.

Jesus gave us the great commission when he said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.” It is exiting to think through our membership of St Paul’s Church Widnes, we can be part of this, supporting the wider ministry of our church through our prayers, actions and our giving.
