Albert and Irene Howard

Albert Howard, aged 79, was admitted and licenced to the office of reader by the Rt Rev Laurence Brown, Bishop of Warrington at St Michael’s Church Blundell Sands, Liverpool on the 6th July 1968.

Albert was married to Irene, pictured here with him, on 26th September 1953.

 

They have two children, Andrew and Peter. They are also blessed with three grandchildren, Emma, Robert and Charlotte.

 

Albert received the Maundy Purses from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth on Royal Maundy, April 8th 2003 at Liverpool Cathedral for services to the church and the community.
